F,P,D Univers. Da Nang (occasionally Danang; in Vietnamese: Đà Nẵng About this sound pronunciation (help·info)) is a major port city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, on the coast of the South China Sea. It is one of the five independent municipalities in Vietnam.

It was called Tourane or Turon during the French colonization of Vietnam.
