F,P,D Univers.-Pope ends tour with Mid-East plea




On the final day of his visit to the Holy Land, Pope Benedict XVI has visited Christianity's most sacred site - the church believed to stand upon the site where Jesus was crucified.

He told worshippers at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem they should not lose hope that peace in the region was possible.
